Thanks to Mike Stryker (Kitty‘s beloved sub) for this link to a 1969 comic strip in which Supergirl uses Superman’s Supercomputer to find a compatible date, as she’s just too super for any of those pesky human males. She travels to a patriarchal dystopia where women are oppressed and men are all-powerful. There she meets their revered airborne superhero, the man whom the computer has chosen as her perfect mate. However, this man has a secret. He’s actually an attractive woman in disguise, about to reveal himself as a superior female and overturn society’s prejudices. Super.
