The “Association of Sociable Revellers” moved into the Secession Museum in Vienna on February 20th and every day, as the sun sets, the famous gallery is transformed into a public nightclub for BDSM play, swinging and curious voyeurs. The project, allegedly masterminded by Swiss artist Christoph Büchel, has caused controversy amongst local politicians and the European press. Councillor Ursula Stenzel described it as “monstrous”. I’d take that as a resounding recommendation.
