Money pigs; Financial slaves; Cash cows: In the fetish world, especially in that of the non-Pro, they’re widely maligned and thought to be somehow unhinged. I’ve spoken before about how many people without this particular kink find it difficult to understand the motives behind it, or even how it plays out in real life. A thread on IC recently suggested that if a finsub wants to give his money away, then why not give it to charity?
The thing is, much of the time, financial subs don’t actually get round to giving any money to anyone at all but instead just enjoy wanking themselves silly over the idea of it. It tends to be more of a fantasy than a reality in most cases, though I have met a few genuine finsubs over the past few years. It’s a complex fetish, and not one that many people understand when looking in from the outside. Contrary to popular belief, it isn’t normally a genuine invitation to be exploited by a Domme, but often just the sub playing with the fantasy that this Domme *could* exploit him if she wanted to. For a man who cares about his money and possessions, the thought of losing control of them to someone else, even for a limited time, can be both terrifying and thrilling. In most cases very little money actually changes hands. The threat is stronger then the act itself. It’s much the same with blackmail fantasies. It’s not about actually being exposed. It’s about the possibility. Sometimes, finsubs don’t even want someone to wallet-rape them at all, or even threaten to. They just want someone bossier and more organised to manage their money as they themselves are hopeless at it.
Still, if any finsubs fancy chucking a load of dosh in my direction, I’ve got to spend about 300 quid on my car tomorrow so would welcome donations! Anyone…?
Bah!
