Spooks Fetish

BBC Television’s “Spooks” (billed as “MI5” across the pond) has been nominated for an International Emmy. It’s also up for the Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards, in association with the Crime Writers Association (CWA) and Cactus TV, and Hermione Norris is in line for a Best Actress award for her portrayal of Ros Myers. The new series starts in the next couple of weeks on BBC1. Now I know that I’ve bleated on and on about Spooks (and my girlcrush on Hermione Norris) for the past two years, but with good reason. It really is that good. With every series, it seems to become even sexier. As for Ros Myers, anyone who can take down one Russian assassin with a wine bottle and a fork, another with a pen and some facesitting in tight jeans, and then squeeze out state secrets through the medium of CBT on a naked man, deserves all the airtime it’s possible to give.
