A female friend of mine is working on a project and would like to hear your stories from the kink/sex party scene. There are already some interesting, funny and thought-provoking tales appearing on the blog, and more would be welcome:

“It could be about anything that happened in, or related to, a sex party, kink club or anywhere people openly express sexuality.

It needn’t feature actual sexytimes – I’m more interested in how these spaces open up new thoughts, emotions, questions and ways of connecting.

It doesn’t have to be anything special either – if it means something to you, I want to hear it.

This is only about stories. Please don’t name people or events, or describe things in a way that could identify someone. If you feel you need to process your experience, please contact a professional who accepts your sex and relationship choices.”

Latex Art in Brighton

Between the end of the last and beginning of this month, the “100 Artists for World Aids Day” project exhibited in Brighton. One such artist was Michelle Mildenhall who creates pieces out of latex. Here’s a piece from Bent Magazine on her work:

‘…As the only UK-based artist working solely with latex, she balances stylised imagery with compelling minimalism.
“I’m proud to be part of a cause that raises funds and awareness of AIDs,” says Michelle. “It’s really important for communities to come together in the face of the disease – and that includes the artistic community.”
Each exhibiting artist chooses one artwork to present at the event. Michelle has decided to bring along QE2, showing the Queen in a collar and crown. It has been one of her most popular creations – even gracing the front cover of Skin Two.
“As a material, latex is so beautiful it really deserves to be looked at and admired. It helps me to strip down my subjects in a minimalist style, while still retaining the essence of their characters. I’ve really enjoyed taking a formidable icon and a sensual medium and combining the two to create the final piece,” Mildenhall says….’

3 Day Male Chastity

This article fills my heart with joy and reinforces everything I’ve heard about the male chastity-device experience from a chap’s point of view. Here’s just a little bit of it:

“…That was part of the fun of this whole experiment: knowing that I was walking around, having meetings, going to work, and riding the subway with this weird toy in my pants. It was my own kinky secret, and I liked it.

But that was the most enjoyable part. The weirdest thing about the chastity device was that it made me think about my dick all the time, while also rendering it completely obsolete. I wanted to fuck everything, but I couldn’t fuck anything. It was sort of like having a black hole in my pants, pulling everything toward it, but there was nothing there…”
